DARK PRO BASE is a low-acid camouflage base with a medium viscosity designed for covering nails in a thin or medium layer. With a pH level of 6.5, the material works gently with the natural nail plate while providing reliable adhesion and comfortable application.

The base offers a pigmentation level from 1 to 3.5 on a 4-point scale. It cures thoroughly, maintains coating stability throughout wear, does not delaminate over time, and does not cause intense heat during curing. Its fluid consistency allows for quick and thin leveling.

Method of use

  1. Perform a manicure, buff the nail surface, cleanse and dehydrate the nail, then apply Dehydrator and Ultrabond.
  2. Before applying DARK PRO BASE, apply a thin layer of transparent SCOTCH BASE or another medium-acid base to improve adhesion to the natural nail.
  3. Apply a thin or leveling layer of the base. The thickness must not exceed 0.7 mm.
  4. Cure in the original lamp for 60–90 seconds.
  5. Apply the chosen top coat and cure for 90–120 seconds.

For optimal adhesion to natural nails, a medium-acid base should only be used as a thin foundation layer. Leveling with medium-acid bases is not recommended to avoid chemical burns.

This base is best suited for standard nail lengths. For long, very thin nails or sharp square shapes, the use of rigid materials is recommended.

If nail length needs to be reduced, it is recommended to perform the final filing after applying the top coat, leaving approximately 1 mm. This strengthens the free edge and improves durability.
