Chemi-Pharm BACTICID – ready-to-use alcohol-based solution for rapid disinfection of alcohol-resistant surfaces.

Description:
The product is designed for fast disinfection of medical devices and surfaces. It is intended for use in areas with strict hygiene requirements where regular disinfection is essential for infection prevention. The solution is ready to use and does not require dilution.

Properties:
BACTICID contains purified, low-volatility ethanol to minimize respiratory irritation. It has broad-spectrum bactericidal and fungicidal activity, destroying both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (including Mycobacterium tuberculosis). It inactivates enveloped and non-enveloped viruses such as HBV, HIV, rotavirus, and adenovirus, and is also effective against influenza viruses (including H5N1) and herpes viruses.

Application:
BACTICID is suitable for rapid disinfection of medical equipment and surfaces such as operating tables, trolleys, patient chairs, hospital and maternity beds, and wheelchairs. Ideal for environments where disinfection is a key preventive measure.

Apply the solution to the surface using a cloth or disposable wipe. Ensure the surface remains visibly wet for at least 30 seconds. In case of visible contamination, clean the surface first with a detergent, dry it, and then disinfect with BACTICID.

The product is ready to use and should not be diluted. Not suitable for acrylic glass or alcohol-soluble coatings. If material resistance is uncertain, test on a small inconspicuous area first. No rinsing required. Does not alter the visual appearance of surfaces. Can also be used for disinfection of food-contact surfaces.

Material compatibility:
Suitable for stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, PVC, linoleum, ceramic tiles, plastic, and glass surfaces.

Complies with EN 1040, EN 13727, EN 1275, EN 1276, EN 14348, EN 13624, EN 13697, EN 1650, EN 14476.

Precautions:
Contains biocide. Read the instructions before use. Handle with care and observe general safety measures. Highly flammable – keep away from ignition sources and do not smoke. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water, remove contact lenses if present, and rinse again. Store tightly closed in a well-ventilated place. Keep out of reach of children.
