ItalWax depilatory waxes are part of a professional range of products for waxing treatments. Film Wax is a new generation of stripless waxing products. It is applied in a thin layer and removed as a single layer after hardening. Its elastic texture follows the contours of the body and adheres well to the hair.

Film Wax is particularly suitable for removing terminal hairs, which are thicker, longer and have deeper roots. When applied in a thin layer, the wax grips the hairs and allows them to be removed from the root.

The elastic texture allows the wax to follow the contours of the body. Thanks to its strong adhesion to the hair, it can be applied regardless of the direction of hair growth. The wax removes the hair from the root while the applied layer remains flexible after hardening.

How to use:

1. Heat the wax to a working temperature of 40–45 °C.
2. Before waxing, cleanse the skin of oil and cosmetic residue using the alcohol-containing Aloe lotion.
3. Apply a thin layer of wax with a spatula regardless of the direction of hair growth, moving towards yourself. Leave a small “tab” to use as a grip when removing the wax. For underarm waxing, use one application. Do not rush during application and press the spatula firmly with the necessary pressure.
4. Allow the wax to harden for 4–10 seconds. The wax is ready for removal when it no longer sticks to the hand.
5. Stretch the skin in the direction opposite to the removal, then remove the wax with a quick movement away from yourself, parallel to the skin.
6. Repeat the procedure on the next area.
7. After completing the waxing treatment, apply Cooling Gel or Orchid Emulsion to the skin. These oil-free products have a soothing and cooling effect.

Common mistakes:

• If the wax stretches like caramel and is difficult to remove, it may not have hardened sufficiently. Apply a little talc to the wax, wait 2–3 seconds and remove it.
• If some hairs remain after removing the wax, the wax may not have been pressed firmly enough with the spatula during application. Apply wax to the remaining hairs and press it more firmly onto the area with the spatula.
• If the wax does not harden, the layer may be too thick. Carefully spread the applied wax over a larger area. Next time, apply a thinner layer.
• If the edges of the applied wax remain on the skin after removal, the wax may have been applied unevenly. Apply an even layer of wax in the centre and around the edges.

Additional method of use:

1. Cleanse the skin before waxing.
2. Place a small amount of wax into a heating container.
3. Heat the wax until it reaches a suitable consistency.
4. If the wax is too thick, heat it for a little longer.
5. Before application, make sure that the wax is not too hot.
6. If necessary, talc or powder can be applied before waxing.
7. Apply the wax with a spatula in accordance with the direction of hair growth. Do not rush during application and press the wax onto the skin with the spatula.
8. Allow the wax to harden for 5–6 seconds so that it grips the hairs.
9. Lift the edge of the applied wax and remove it with a quick movement against the direction of hair growth, together with the hairs.
10. After waxing, clean the treated area with post-wax oil.
11. The day after waxing, post-wax oil is recommended for moisturizing and soothing the skin and can be used for the following several days.

• Warning! Before starting the waxing procedure, always check the temperature of the heated wax. Wax that is too hot may cause skin burns.
• Do not use the product contrary to its intended purpose.
• Do not apply wax to areas of skin with wounds, sunburn, irritation, varicose veins or acne.
• Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes.
• Keep away from children.

Contraindications to waxing:

• Acute and chronic skin diseases in the area to be waxed.
• Varicose veins in the treatment area.
