Stamping Nail Polish – DARK

If the design does not transfer to the stamp, it is usually due to improper technique or the properties of the polish. The polish must not be thickened and enough should be taken on the brush to cover the design evenly.

Apply the polish on the plate in 1–2 strokes. The longer the polish remains exposed to air, the higher the chance of poor transfer.

  • Work with the scraper at approximately 45 degrees, do not press to avoid pushing the polish out of the design.
  • Use quick movements with the scraper, 2–4 strokes are sufficient, avoiding full swings across the plate.
  • Immediately pick up the stamp and transfer the design with a soft rolling motion, do not press the stamp hard.

Usage:

  1. Perform a manicure, apply a base, gel, or colored polish, and cure in a lamp.
  2. If a sticky layer is present, remove it using a cleansing product.
  3. Apply polish to the plate, remove excess with a scraper, and pick up the design with the stamper.
  4. Transfer the design to the nail using a rolling or straight motion.
  5. Cover with top coat. If the top coat lifts the design, apply a thin layer of clear base first, then cover with top coat.
